Food service workers, hotel desk clerks, recreation attendants cashiers, parking lot attendants, hosts and hostesses are among the lowest paid fields in Buffalo.

Postsecondary vocational education teachers, painters, construction and maintenance workers, correctional officers, office and administrative workers and operating engineers on average apparently make more than 25 percent above the national average in their occupations, according to Business First. 

Meanwhile, lawyers, advertising sales agents, web developers, financial analysts and postsecondary teachers all make an average of 25 percent below the national average in their fields, Business First reports.
