Huge Announcement For Women’s Pro Hockey

Twitter has announced it will stream a National Women's Hockey League game of the week during the 2017-18 season.  That comes on the heels of a recent announcement of a similar deal between Twitter and the WNBA.

The “Twitter NWHL Game of the Week” will feature the league’s four teams: the Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale and New York Riveters. The schedule of games will be announced in September.

Twitter will also broadcast the 2018 NWHL All-Star Game as well as two games between the NWHL and a team from Russia.
