If You Could Remove Any Show From TV What Would It Be? [POLL]

I hate that my kids watch as much TV as they do.  They are constantly on the move so when we do have time to be home, I let them relax and watch the tube.  But they aren’t channel flippers.  They watch pretty much one show…all day long.  Spongebob Squarepants is on a constant loop at our house.

It drives me CRAZY!  So I put a question up on Facebook to see what shows you would cancel if you could.  Here are the top three answers:

1.  Jersey Shore

I’m with you.  Get rid of anything that has to do with this show.  Snooki, JWoww, all of them can go.  Maybe I’m just jealous that they make so much more money than I do for being a bunch of rude idiots but I wouldn’t mind if that part of American culture went away.

(WARNING:  Video NSFW for language.)

2.  Here Comes Honey Boo Boo

Her real name is Alana Thompson but she’s known as Honey Boo Boo.  I have to admit, I’ve never actually seen this spinoff from the TLC series “Toddlers and Tiaras.”  I also have to admit that I hope that my life is never boring enough that my best option is to sit in front of my television watching the worst parenting experiment ever.  Who in the world ever thinks it’s a good idea to feed your kid a mixture of Mountain Dew and Red Bull??  Shame on her mom.

3.  Teen Mom

MTV thought that they would be scaring kids away from having sex too early by airing the trials and tribulations of teen moms.  But instead, in some cases the teens thought, “if they can do it, so can I”.  Maybe not such a well thought out series.
