The bitter cold temperatures have returned to the area; and if you watch local television news, you would think we are in for quite a bit of snow. But will it be enough to get your sled out?

True,  Western New York is going to get as much as 16" of snow. But before you head out to the shed and jump on your sled, check trail conditions in your area.

The recent wind storm may have dropped branches or trees on the trails. Also, because of the good weather we have had, some of the trails may have had signs or markers removed in fields as a few farmers may have anticipated an early start to the growing season.
