Hey, y'all! I love sharing with you what's going on "In the Buf" on the air Saturday nights and thought, what the heck, I'll write 'em down! I like sharing your stories and mine. That's the thing about the loving hearts of Buffalonians and country music, we got STORIES! Okay, I'll start.

Many of you know I raised a developmentally disabled son. Joe's the happiest kid I know! He's really not so much a kid anymore, except in his head, and his childlike musings are brilliant.

We go to many different churches and last week it was St. Louis RC on Edward St. Now, Joe loves the music, prayers and statues. He loves Jesus, St. Joseph of course, and Mother Mary; but the wheelchair entrance put us right in front of a 10-foot Crucifix. This was new to Joe and he couldn't take his eyes off of it.

You know that feeling when we know when our kids are going to say something...unseemly? Heh!

Joseph, rather loudly: "Jesus is 'NEKKED'! Aw, He has baaad ouches. He's got to get down. Jesus has got to get dressed!" The congregation cracked up. Out of the mouths of babes, eh? I thought you'd enjoy that!

So whether your church is brick & mortar or a beautiful sunrise walk along our Lake Erie coast, Joseph and I wish blessings, joy and peace all over y'all!
