Jase Robertson, one of the stars of the hit TV series 'Duck Dynasty' was recently in New York City promoting season four of the show when he became a victim of "facial profiling".

Didn't know there was such a thing, huh?

It's actually a funny story: The Robertson clan was staying at the upscale Trump International Hotel when a hotel employee made a mistake. 'Duck Dynasty' has millions of viewers each week, but one staff member has apparently been living under a rock and was unfamiliar with the show. Jase and the family Robertson have long beards and wear camouflage, as they do duck calls along with lots of hunting and fishing. This staff member mistook Jase as a homeless individual and showed him the door to Central Park when he asked him where the restroom was located.

Jase was not upset about the situation; he joked about how this was not the first time that members of the family were mistaken as homeless. He recalled another time when they were visiting New York City and someone put change in his brother Willie’s coffee cup, and once when another member of the family spoke at a church, he was shown where the homeless shelter was located.

At least Jase and the Robertson clan did not take offense to the situation. They handled it well and were able to laugh. Never judge a book by its cover!
