Country newcomer Jamie Lynn Spears is getting married to fiancé James Watson on Friday (March 14), according to reports.

The couple has been engaged for over a year, and filed for a marriage license at Tangipahoa Parish Clerk of Courts in Louisiana on March 5, E! Entertainment reports. An unnamed source confirms they will be tying the knot on March 14. Check out the marriage license here.

In Louisiana, once a license is issued there is a 72-hour waiting period between the issuing date and when the marriage can take place. Once received, the license is good for 30 days.

The couple registered at Bed Bath & Beyond, and a wedding date of March 14 is listed at the top. Unfortunately, fans won't know the details of Spears' bath towels or flatware, because they only registered for gift cards at the store!

Spears made her country debut in the fall with 'How Could I Want More,' an emotional tune penned about her husband-to-be. She admits that she cried in the studio while singing the song.

"Relationships go through ups and downs," she explains in an interview with Taste of Country. "This was a point where I’d just broken up with him and this song came right from such a vulnerable place that I was in, every time I sing it it just brings me right back there. And to look at where we are now … So every time I go to sing it, all those emotions just come running back up and I just end up crying."

The couple has certainly come a long way, and it's sweet to see that they've worked through their struggles to get to this point -- their wedding day. Congratulations to Spears and Watson!
