Three races left in the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship, and there's a tie for first place. Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth are in the lead, with Jeff Gordon trailing by 26 points after Gordon's first win of the season at Martinsville Speedway.

Gordon passed Matt Kenseth with 20 laps to go and held on for his eighth career victory on NASCAR's oldest track and the grandfather clock trophy that goes along with the win.

Kenseth came in second, but it was tough to swallow after giving up the lead after being out in front for the previous 105 laps. He finished leading a race high 200 laps, but it was good enough to pull him into the Chase lead with Jimmie Johnson, who came in fifth.

Clint Bowyer came in third, and Brad Keselowski was fourth.

There are three more races left in the season. It's on to Texas Motor Speedway next week, followed by Phoenix and the season finale at Homestead.
