John La Mond Says “Thank You” To All The WYRK Fans Who Came To The 2012 TOC

First of all, I want to say how proud I am  to be part of the best radio station in Western New York. It's been my life for almost 29 years and I appreciate all of you who have showed up at our WYRK functions throughout the years. Whether it's a remote, jamboree, charity event or country concert, you folks are ALWAYS there for WYRK.

Obviously we are blessed with a great music format. We play today's country music which to me is really "America's music". The songs you hear on WYRK are all about the things you and me face everyday. These are songs that tell stories of life and all the things that happen to us: happiness, heartbreak and everything in between. BUT, what REALLY makes WYRK a great radio station is the people who listen every day and always support us.

I really don't think I can come up with all the right words to properly say THANK YOU for coming to the 2012 WYRK Napa Auto Parts Taste Of Country. Obviously we had no control over the weather last night. As my kids always tell me, "When life gives you lemons, you gotta make lemonade".
