Yesterday was a special day in many ways. If my dad were still here, it would have been his 83rd birthday. In honor of my dad, we had a Mass said at our church, St. Gregory The Great in Williamsville.

After Mass I loaded up my truck with my carboys and headed for Forestville, NY. The plan was to get some wine juice at Walker's Wine Juices. It's a good hour drive each way to I brought along some traveling music: Wishbone's Ash's 4-cd box set. Even though it was a bit dreary with the black clouds and rain, the drive was very enjoyable and I was in a great mood.

I ended up getting three different varieties of wine juice: Cabernet Sauvignon, French Concord and Port Blend. I added the yeast last night and all three are now fermenting.

While I was at Walker's, I took some shots of their operation. Check them out and tell me what you think.
