Last Saturday, my neighbor Dennis and I headed out to his gun club to do some target shooting. It was a perfect day to be on an outdoor shooting range. It was sunny, fairly warm and no wind to speak of.

One of our goals was to sight in my AR-15 rifle. I had just put a scope on it and my gunsmith Randy had just reworked the trigger. I built this gun over the past year and am very proud of the way it turned out. After a few rounds, we were able to get the AR-15 rifle dialed in at 100 yards. We were both shooting 3 to 4 inch groups shooting the gun off-hand. We also shot Dennis' match-grade .22 rifle in a  friendly 50 yard competition. We were having so much fun shooting the rifles that we did not even get around to shooting the pistols we brought. Oh well, there is always next time.
