Good choice for the Super Bowl halftime show this year!

Justin Timberlake will be the headlining act at Pepsi Halftime Super Bowl Show this year in Minnesota during the 52nd big game. This will be his third appearance, first in 2001 with Aerosmith and N'SYNC, and again in 2004 with Janet Jackson.

Of course, we all know Timberlake is no stranger to the half time show, as his incident with Janet Jackson is still the most infamous moment in the history of the Super Bowl, 14 years ago.

Who is doing the Super Bowl with Justin Timberlake, though? Will this be the first time in a LONG TIME that a country act will get on the stage?

It's not like he just found out yesterday when we did and he's admitted that he's already been thinking about his performance. Chris Stapleton would be a very good guess. The two are very good friends and first performed 'Tennessee Whiskey' at the CMA Awards in 2015 and most recently Timeberlake surprised a crowd and brought out Stapleton and his wife to do some songs.

Stapleton is again, one of the top couple

The last time that a country act was on the half time show was 2003 when Shania Twain headlined with special guests No Doubt + Sting.
