Kelly Clarkson Calls Off Wedding — She + Brandon Blackstock Are Eloping!

Kelly Clarkson and fiance Brandon Blackstock have decided to elope.

The wedding date was set for October 20 and was to be a somewhat small ceremony with singer/friend Blake Shelton officiating -- but now the couple will just have a big party instead.

Kelly tells People.com that she and Brandon became to overwhelmed by it all, and because of busy schedules, it seemed eloping is a better way to go.

Regardless, the couple is happy and planning to tie the knot very soon with a big, stocked-bar party to follow.
