After winning the first season of American Idol, Kelly Clarkson sky rocketed on to the pop charts with hits like ‘Breakaway’, ‘Since U Been Gone’, and’ Because of You’ which she wrote when she was 16 and later recorded with Reba on the Reba ‘Duets’ CD. I think everyone has always thought in time Kelly would give us a country record.  Just this year she and Jason Aldean were nominated for a Grammy for ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay’ which is the most downloaded country collaboration ever.  She has ties to the industry because of her friendship with Reba and her manager Narvel Blackstock who happens to be married to Reba.  Kelly has a house in Nashville and now rumors have surfaced that she is dating Brandon Blackstock, Narvel’s son and Reba’s stepson

who is also the manager of Blake Shelton, did you get all that?  Anyhow, Kelly just went back into the studio with producer Dann Huff who has worked with Rascal Flatts and many more successful country artists.  The two collaborated on a country mix of Kelly’s recent hit ‘Mr. Know It All’.  I personally think the song sounds great with fiddles and steel guitar, check it out. I personally welcome her to country this girl has one of the best voices across all music formats and she is country at heart.
