Kenmore Police Warn People About Bail Scam

If someone calls you asking you to make bail for a relative or acquaintance, you might want to hear it from them before you pony up the money.According to the Village of Kenmore Police department, there's a scam going now where someone will call you on behalf of your loved one and ask for bail money.  Then they will ask you to make the transfer using Western Union.

They encourage you to hang up if they call you and don't engage in conversation any further.
