Kenny hasn’t made a stop in the area since the summer of 2009 when he appeared at Darien Lake.  Western New York Chesney fans have had to travel to Toronto, Cleveland or Pittsburgh the last few years if they’ve wanted to catch a show.

Kenny Chesney has just announced dates for his 2013 tour and I’m bummed to report that the first leg of the tour does not include a Buffalo show.  Some may still attribute the lack of stops in the area are due to the infamous arrest after the George Strait concert at the stadium back in 2000, I doubt that has anything to do with it seeing how Kenny has come through here twice since then.  I’m thinking it has more to do with the fact that other city stadiums are an easier sell than Buffalo and not for lack of fans only because Ralph Wilson stadium is larger than most other stadiums. Just a thought not fact, there is still a chance that a Buffalo could be added and I’m certainly hoping one will be at the arena.  For now, here are the 17 cities that will play host to Kenny Chesney in 2013.
