Kevin Harvick coupled his first win of the season with his first career victory at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday by stretching his fuel over the final 40 laps.  He finished more than eight seconds ahead of second-place teammate Clint Bowyer.

Brad Keselowski came in third with Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch completing the Top 5.

Martin Truex, Jr. had things going his way until engine trouble ended his day, but not before he led a race-high 25 laps and won the First Stage.  With 11 Stage victories this season he leads in playoff points.

Kyle Larson led from the pole, but he was involved in a wreck with Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Danica Patrick only 14 laps in.  All three were able to finish the race.

Five drivers made their Monster Energy Cup debut at Sonoma.  Billy Johnson filling in for the injured Aric Almirola finished 22nd.  Also appearing for the first time were Alon Day, Kevin O'Connell, Tommy Regan and Josh Bilicki.

From California they head back east again next weekend at Daytona on Saturday under the lights.
