Kite-boarding on Lake Erie? It Looks Like Fun [VIDEO]

It's National Fly a Kite Day! June 15th has been dedicated to getting outside and flying a kite. Some of the best you can find around Buffalo are at Canalside these days. However, here is a unique way to enjoy a kite...and the eater!

Although it's not very clear as to the exact location of this video, the person that is featured apparently is on Lake Erie near Buffalo in the early spring.

Kites have been a part of America since the start. If you know you're history, you probably can recall the famous experiment by Ben Franklin:

Franklin's kite experiment was performed in Philadelphia in June 1752, according to Wikipedia and Franklin described the experiment in the Pennsylvania Gazette in October 19, 1752.

If you look closely, you can see the windmills in Lackawanna in the background.
