L.A. Officials Are Dumping Millions of Balls Into Reservoirs to Help Prevent Evaporation [VIDEO]
This video is mesmerizing! Watch as 96 million balls are dumped into a reservoir to help prevent evaporation.
They're made of polyethylene and Mayor Eric Garcetti says, "The small, black plastic balls protect water quality by preventing sunlight-triggered chemical reactions, deterring birds and other wildlife, and protecting water from rain and wind-blown dust."
But really...it's fun to watch them spill in.
