Happy Labor Day!

The holiday originated in New York City in 1882 and is celebrated In Buffalo with an annual  parade featuring more than 50 units starting at the Buffalo Irish Center at 245 Abbott Rd. at noon. It will proceed to Cazenovia Park, where a picnic will follow. Don't be late! Marching bands, Irish dancers, elected political types and, of course, labor unions will be featured. The festivities are sponsored by the Western New York AFL-CIO.
