Looking to clear your house of a lot of clutter before you're stuck in it for the next couple months?  Stop out to this recycling event happening next weekend.

It'll take place on the corner of Roebling and East Delavan Avenues next Saturday October 14th from 9am to noon.

The event is part of a continued campaign to increase recycling participation citywide and the Roebling block club actually won the event as part of a competition that Mayor Byron Brown initiated.

The event is more than just basic recycling though.  This one involves an on site shredder to get rid of sensitive papers and documents, a bicycle recycler, and an opportunity to donate canned goods, clothing, and other things like sheets and blankets to Brown’s Western New York Coalition for Donated Goods (WNYCDG).
