Some Tim Horton's locations in Canada posted signs this week that due to higher operating costs they've been forced to raise prices on hot beverages and breakfast menu items.  That move came one day after the company announced that Tim Horton's sales in Canada had fallen 0.6% in the most recent quarter.

In most cases the price of a cup of coffee increased by 10 cents (Canadian).  Some other menu items also went up by about a dime or so.  Doesn't sound like a whole lot, but some customers are really upset about it to the point they say they won't be back.  Because of a dime?
