The Taste of Home Cooking show is this Saturday at UB Center of Performing Arts and it’s a chance to get some new holiday recipe ideas.  I went grocery shopping last night and realized that I eat the same stuff from week to week.  My meals are not creative or exciting in any way and that’s probably why I tend to eat out more often then I should.  My specialties consist of chicken soup, which I cheat in making by using an already cooked roasted chicken; it’s tasty but boring.  Spaghetti, yes a specialty if you consider boiling water and heating up sauce a specialty.  Tuna Noodle casserole is another dish I can make fairly well, but again it’s not all that exciting; two cans of cream of mushroom soup, one can tuna and done.

If you’re like me and you’re stuck in a cooking rut, why not come on out to the show and watch culinary expert Michael Barna cook exciting new recipes and provide helpful cooking tips and techniques you can use to become a star in your own kitchen!

There's a holiday marketplace you can shop before the show and  you taste free samples from our participating vendors too.

Each attendee will receive a fantastic gift bag filled with free products like Schwebel's bread, coupons and a FREE Taste of Home Cooking School Magazine.

Doors open at 10:30a, show at 1p.  See you there!
