Our neighbors to the North are making big news after breaking a Guinness World Record at Legoland Discovery Center in Toronto!

Congratulations are in order for our friends in Toronto as they have created the world's largest Lego brick flag with a flag that spans 21X11 feet!

Just how many bricks would you need to replicate this flag?  Nearly 250,000!  It weighs in at around 1,100 pounds!  That's a lot of heel pain inducing bricks!

The flag building was part of Canada Day festivities and people were encouraged to take part and help build this massive flag.

Here's the cool thing for Canadians.  They have a chance to win a Lego prize pack by submitting photos of their patriotic LEGO® creations to LEGO® Life!  But don't wait.  You have to get them in by July 2!

Visitors can also have an engraved LEGO® brick showcased by the flag for just $2, with all proceeds donated to child-focused charity, Merlin’s Magic Wand.
