While Buffalo can be proud of having Canisius as a Division 1 NCAA team the closest to downtown, based on these factors, it didn't stack up to Lewiston (Rank 32) or Allegany (Rank 44).

Lewiston is home to Niagara University. Home of the Niagara Purple Eagles and Allegany is the place you will find St. Bonaventure University.
