You remember why you were a kid and your mom would say something and, because we were so naive, we would believe her. After all, she is your mother.

Thinking about it back now, when my mom would say "ask your father" she probably meant "I don't want to be the bad one" or maybe "I'm sick of you asking me all these questions!"

I came up with a short list and called me mom in the middle of the night to ask her on the air. These were her responses and they were priceless! LOL

    What she really meant: "Yeah like when hell freezes over."

    What she really meant: "Hmmm probably never"

    What she really meant: "We're not buying that now, hopefully you'll forget about that before your birthday."

    What she really meant: "Hopefully, you'll figure it out by yourself"

    What she really meant: "you already know that answer to that"

    What She Said: "When you live in MY house you live by MY rules!"

    What she really meant: "I'm the boss around here!"
