Little Big Town took home the prize for Vocal Group of the Year at the 2016 ACM Awards Sunday night (April 3).

"We grew up singing harmonies with our families, so we want to give this one to them," Karen Fairchild stated to the crowd upon accepting the big win.

This year marks back-to-back wins for the group in this category. This also marks the 10th time LBT has been nominated for this honor.

"Thank you Chris Stapleton for not being in a group," Kimberly Schlapman joked, even though her comment probably holds some truth.

LBT took the past year by storm after the huge success of the ACM-nominated song "Girl Crush," which stirred some controversy over the subject matter. That hit also received nods for both Song of the Year and Single Record of the Year.

The foursome lead group nominations with additional recognition for Video of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for “Smokin’ and Drinkin’” with Miranda Lambert.

"It is such a gift to make music every day and we are so thankful to do this," Phillip Sweet continued. "It gets more fun every moment."

Prior to their big win, LBT owned the stage during their jazzy rendition of "Stay All Night." That show-stopping performance highlighted the talented men in the group, with Jimi Westbrook and Sweet showing they can keep up with the girls. Their bluesy voices filled out the arena bringing everyone to their feet to swing their hips.

LBT are currently on tour with ACM host Luke Bryan as part of his Kill the Lights Tour, which continues through May.
