Little Big Town’s ‘Pontoon’ Hits Number 1, Goes Platinum [VIDEO]

Months ago when the song ‘Pontoon’ was released by Little Big Town I knew it would become the 2012 Summer Anthem and it exceeded the anthem status by hitting the top of the charts.  Little Big Town has their first number one single and the song also reached Platinum certification selling more than one million digital downloads. The single is the first from the band’s 5^th CD 'Tornado' that comes out on September 11^th.  I just received an advanced copy today and I’m totally excited to give it a listen.  Congrats to Little Big Town on the success of the single ‘Pontoon’ and look for them making a ton of television appearances in the next few weeks including;
