Liz Hits Up The Maid Of The Mist! [PICTURES / VIDEO]

My aunt and uncle are in town for a few days and really wanted to go on the Maid of the Mist. They actually came here on their honeymoon but never had the chance to ride the Maid of the Mist. So I was more than willing to go with them because the last time I had been on the ride, I was about 8.

We trekked up to the Falls and bought our tickets and literally walked on the boat with no stopping -- what service! :)

The boat wasn't even that crowded, and we were able to move from side to side. This was very helpful toward the end when we were attempting to get out of the splash zone!

I did learn that unless you have short hair, you're not wearing the poncho hood, or you're not having water thrown in your eyes...you will look ridiculous in any picture you take. I mean, you're wearing a giant blue poncho! :)

You have to admit that living so close to one of the "Seven Wonders of the World" is pretty awesome. No matter how many time you've seen the Falls, they're still impressive to see every time!
