He's one of the 8 members of Adam Levine's team on "The Voice" and he'll battle to stay in the competition tonight at 10 on NBC. His name is Javier Colon and he's been kicking around the music business for a number of years and even though he did get a recording contract with Capitol Records his career never really took off. He's been writing and performing since the age of 13, but now with a wife and two kids he considers "The Voice" his final try at a music career. If he doesn't make it here he'll likely have to turn to something else.

He was born in Bridgeport, CT to a Dominican father and Puerto Rican mother and over the years has performed with the Indigo Girls and Darius Rucker. He sang "Time After Time" on the first episode of "The Voice" and all four judges asked him to join their team. He chose Adam Levine.

It was back on September 12, 2010 that Colon performed the national anthem at the Buffalo Bills home opener at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
