I've thrown some parties in my day, but nothing compares to this. Actually, I don't even consider this a party. It's more like a bunch of savages ruining a house.

This is like from a movie. A local 17-year-old sophomore from Hamburg had the house to herself while her parents were away for the weekend. A supposed-to-be-small party she threw ended up being advertised on Facebook and turned into a raging, home-wrecking machine of about 200 people.

Ever see the movie Project X? Here's the local version. The family car was stolen and set on fire, beer bottles were thrown at the house, dents were found in the siding of the home, lawn furniture was set on fire, the garden was destroyed, the liquor cabinet was cleaned out, beer bottles were everywhere and condoms were found all in the bedrooms. WHAT THE HECK?!

According to the Buffalo News, Debi Weber, the 17-year-old girl’s mother, returned to her Lakeshore Road home on Sunday to discover the family car missing, garbage bags full of alcohol bottles and damaged or missing household items. Also missing was $400 in cash and prescription drugs, including Xanax. The charred family car was recovered on a road a block from Weber’s home.

Weber holds her daughter responsible for her choices that night, but she said the four Hamburg police officers who broke up the party should have done more than just allow the high school students to drive away.
