Look Out For Counterfeit Cash – ‘Movie Prop’ Money Is Circulating Through WNY

Check your bills! Somehow, there is fake money being circulated in Western New York.

The bills are actually movie prop money. According to The Buffalo News, Cheektowaga police arrested a woman who tried to use the fake $100 bill on Wednesday at Restaurant Depot on Duke Road.

Another man told Cheektowaga police on April 17, he had sold some property to someone who paid him with three of those fake bills.
