Man Arrested For Taking Two-Hour Test Drive

How long do you need to test drive a vehicle?  For most people it’s a spin around the block, but not for one 47-year old Wisconsin man who was arrested last week for taking a car on a two-hour test drive by himself.

Madison, Wisconsin police charged the man with Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Consent of Owner.  He drove off from a car dealership in a Nissan Altima when the salesperson left the vehicle for a moment to help other customers.

When he was confronted by police later in the day, the man allegedly told officers that “you just don’t take it for a 15 minute test drive.”
