Finally a checkered flag for Marcus Ambrose. He won yesterday’s rain delayed road course race at Watkins Glen beating Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski in a two lap sprint. Busch led at the green flag for the final two laps, but Keselowski, then Ambrose got by him. Ambrose then chased down Keselowski, caught him and passed him entering the final lap and rolled to his first Sprint Cup victory.

Ambrose had to be considered one of the favorites going in. He never had finished lower than third in three previous starts at the Glen and won all three Nationwide events he’d driven in.
Coming off his win the week before at Pocono, Keselowski was looking for his second straight victory, but settled for second.
Kyle Busch led 49 laps and appeared to be headed to the win until Paul Menard blew a tire and crashed bringing out the final caution.
Martin Truex, Junior and Joey Logano rounded out the top five.
Defending race winner Juan Pablo Montoya finished seventh.
The race finished under caution when David Reutimann and David Ragan were involved in a terrible crash on the final lap. Ragan slammed into a guard rail, bouncing off Reutimann’s car.  Reutimann ended up sliding upside down across the track before crashing into a wall on the other side of the track.  Both drivers walked away from the wreck.
Next up on the schedule is Michigan.
