Memorial Day (Monday, May 26) is our time to honor the brave men and women who serve our country! There are many celebrations and parades in the Western New York area that you can see over the weekend. Here are a few of the many parades taking place this Memorial Day weekend.

Niagara Falls Memorial Day Parade -- Saturday, May 24, 11 a.m.
This parade begins at 11 a.m., proceeding down from City Market onto 19th Street, to Pine Avenue, across Hyde Park Boulevard, left on Robins Drive and into Hyde Park, where a ceremony follows.

Town of Marilla -- Sunday, May 25, 1 p.m.
Parade lineup begins at the cemetery on Two Rod Road at 1 p.m., and the parade ends at Veteran's Memorial. Hot dogs will be served after the ceremony.

Kenmore/Tonawanda -- Monday, May 26, 10 a.m.
The parade runs along Delaware Avenue, beginning in the Town of Tonawanda and continuing into the Village of Kenmore, and turns onto Lincoln Boulevard, ending at Elmwood Avenue. It features bands, service organizations, dance groups and fire departments. Veterans and active members of the military are honored and thanked for their service to our country.

Clarence Memorial Day Parade -- Monday, May 26, 11 a.m.
The parade begins at Clarence High School (Main at Gunnville) and ends at Clarence Town Park (10450 Main St.) with ceremonies in the Town Park.
