Being in the Media for 30 years, I have been asked from time to time if I would consider running for public office. I guess there is a similarity in a politician's job and my job as a radio personality. We both do a lot of personal appearances where we meet new people, shake hands and kiss a lot of babies. If I were to enter into politics, that is one part of the job I could do very well. I love to meet new people. But, what has kept me out of the political arena is the back-stabbing and cut-throat nature of politics. I just don't have the stomach for that, which is why you won't see me running for office anytime soon.

Last night at the Iowa GOP debate, Michelle Bachmann was asked if she was a "submissive" wife? What in the hell does that have to do with running for president and running the country? Even if you don't like Mrs. Bachmann, that is such a rude question to ask. In my humble opinion, that question is entirely in poor taste. Michelle Bachmann took the question in stride and answered it with dignity and grace.
