The only shots that will be fired during Wednesday night’s Huntsville Stars baseball game will come from home runs.

The team has elected to cancel a gun raffle, as part of its Second Amendment Night. A spokeswoman for the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers said the team put the kibosh on the promotion because “Minor League Baseball officials said the promotion was likely not in the franchise’s best interest.”

Even though no guns will be given away, fans who present their NRA membership cards can still get into the game for free.
