Miranda Lambert Guest Stars On ‘Law & Order SVU’ Along With Harry Connick Jr.

Yesterday the WYRK Breakfast Club told us Miranda Lambert  was going to make her small-screen debut on NBC’s ‘Law & Order; Special Victims Unit. I think it's cool she is doing it.  Miranda will play an actress who claims to have been sexually assaulted by a reality show producer, played by actor Michael McKean who you may know from ‘Lavern & Shirley’ and the movie ‘Spinal Tap’.  The episode has already been taped but the air date has not been announced yet.  Miranda now joins country stars Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Trace Adkins who have all dipped in to the world of acting.

Another singer will appear on SVU, Harry Connick Jr. will play a love interest for Mariska Hargitay's Detective Benson in a four-episode arc. Connick will also appear in Lambert's episode.  I'm a fan of the show and I think they've done a great job filling the void of Christopher Meloni who exiting the show last season.
