Montgomery Gentry Finds New Label Home

Have you noticed it has been awhile since we’ve heard new songs from Montgomery Gentry?  Well that’s because the duo separated from their label last September.  During that time Eddie Montgomery was also treated for Prostate cancer and is doing well thankfully and during his recovery, the guys began searching for a new label home.  I’m thrilled to share that theboot has reported Eddie and Troy have landed a deal with Average Joe’s Entertainment.  Looks like we’ll get some new music in the spring.  This is just one case where artists find themselves without a label for whatever reason.   A lot of people don’t know how tough it is to get singles released without the support of a record label, even if the artist is an established duo like Montgomery Gentry.  I’ll be curious to hear the new stuff from the guys.  Hopefully they’ll begin touring shortly after the album release and head our way too, I’ll keep you posted.
