It really is no surprise that New York is losing people at a record pace!

Taxes, regulations and weather are all factors in why people are fleeing to other states.

According to the report and the U.S. Census Bureau, between July 1st, 2017, and July 1st, 2018, more than 48-thousand people left the Empire State.  That's the highest number of any state.

Despite the losses, there are still more than 19 million people living in New York.  Only California, Texas and Florida have more residents.
