I have been filling in for John LaMond all this week on WYRK, the other day I mentioned that I have a favorite new song it's from JT Hodges and it's called "Hunt You Down." Such a cool, fun, whistlin' good song with a fresh sound! Being in radio and listening to music pretty much all the time, there are songs that hit me when I hear them that I enjoy so much that I listen to it over and over again. I will play the song a little later on this afternoon on WYRK.

JT was raised in Fort Worth Texas and has been around music his whole life. His mother is a singer that turned down a record contract so she could stay home and raise JT. His father is a classical pianist who opened the first recording studio in Fort Worth. JT has joined Toby Keith's Show Dog Records in 2011 and "Hunt You Down" is his first single. JT is on the "Locked and Loaded Tour" with Toby and Eric Church. If you're going to Toby's show at Darien Lake on September 4th you are in for one heck of show and a great opening from an artist is one to watch, JT Hodges!

JT Hodges did a cool interview on what it is like to be on tour with Toby Keith, check it out here.
