Mysterious Creature Spotted In Alaskan River

This is just weird.  Is this Alaska's version of Loch Ness?  It was discovered by an Alaska Bureau of Land Management worker who was checking the ice in the Chena River last week.

While some claim it's a creature swimming through the ice, others are claiming it's just a frozen rope.

I don't know...it's looking more like some kind of creature to me.
