Five races, five different winners and five different point leaders in the Sprint Cup Series so far this season.  Kevin Harvick passed Jimmie Johnson on the final turn to win yesterday’s race at Fontana, California for his 15th career win.

Harvick started 24th and led only one lap all day.

Johnson settled for second and Kyle Busch who won the Nationwide race on Saturday and had the dominant car yesterday came in third spoiling his chance for weekend sweeps two weeks in a row.

Amazing that Busch was able to put himself in such good shape.  He crashed on his first practice lap Friday forcing him to go to a back-up car, but managed to qualify 8th anyway.  22 laps into yesterday’s race he was in the lead and led a race-high 151 laps.

Pole sitter Juan Montoya led the first six laps but faded to finish 10th

Carl Edwards came in 6th and moves up to take over the points lead 9 points up on Ryan Newman.

Martinsville is up on the schedule next Sunday.
