Yesterday's wind storm was one of the strongest I can remember over the past few years.  Airports were closed, tractor trailers were overturned, schools were closed (and some still are).  Today, National Grid is trying to help people who need it after this storm blew through Western New York.

If you are without power today chances are, your refrigerators aren't keeping your food cold and you might need some bottled water to get you through.

According to WIVB, National Grid will be providing dry ice and bottled water today from noon to five for people who were affected by the storm at the following locations:

  • Wrights Corners Fire Company, 4043 Lake Ave., Lockport, NY
  • City of Batavia Fire Department, 18 Evans Street, Batavia, NY
  • Village Fire Station, 80 Owens Rd., Brockport, NY
