They're calling it Deflate-gate.  The New England Patriots are accused of using a deflated football during their 45-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.  Because of the heavy rain during the game using an under-inflated football is easier to throw.

Balls must be inflated to between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds per square inch and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.  At one point during the game the officials removed a ball from the game and weighed it.  There's no word on what the result was.

There have been other instances of cheating by the Patriots including filming other team's practices, something the Patriots were heavily fined for and lost a first-round draft pick.

If the NFL determines the Patriots did somehow insert an illegal ball into the game they could be fined heavily and have a draft choice taken away.  The ball didn't have anything to do with the outcome of the game.  The Patriots dominated the Colts in every aspect to move on to a Super Bowl match-up with the Seattle Seahawks.

Is it winning at all cost?  There's no denying Bilichick is a tremendous coach, but do the Patriots have to consistently bend the rules?  It's why fans of every other team around the league despise the Patriots.
