Watching games involving the New Jersey Devils are never any fun and I'm sure for the Buffalo Sabres playing against them isn't any fun either.  The Devils completed a season sweep against the Sabres with Monday night's 2-1 win in Newark.

The Devils play a defensive, tight-checking game focused on taking advantage of the other team's mistakes and that's exactly what they did against the Sabres.  The Devils scored both of their goals on the power play and that's all they needed.

The lone Buffalo goal came off the stick of Tyler Ennis who scored from what seemed like an impossible angle from the side of the net.

Monday's game began a busy stretch of five games in seven nights for the Sabres this week.  They host San Jose on Tuesday night, Anaheim on Thursday, they travel to Toronto on Saturday, then they're back home Sunday night against Vancouver.
