Partly filmed in Buffalo, NY, the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie premiers today at theaters across the country.  "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows" is actually the sixth feature film based on the comic book characters. Can you believe it's been 26 years since the first film was released in 1990?

It was back in May of last year that film crews spent three weeks in Buffalo filming action scenes along the Kensington Expressway, which meant nightly closings of one of the main express routes into and out of Buffalo.

We'll get to see how it all turned out beginning today.  There are seven area movie houses that are featuring the movie plus the Transit and Delevan Drive-Ins.
