If you are a history buff, you are going to want to check out this exhibit that just opened in the Buffalo Central Library.  It features the Library’s collection of local, national and international posters produced during the World War I period, collected and gifted to the Library after the war by Buffalonian Edward Michael. The cool thing about this exhibit is that while you may see exhibits from around the country about World War I, this one touches on some more local angles.

“The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library is extremely honored to present this special WWI exhibit and robust website to the community because it provides an opportunity to examine a monumental moment in world history through the eyes of local individuals and families,” said Library Director Jakubowski.

The library will be giving guided tours on Saturdays at 2pm.  For more info on those tours and how you can get classroom materials for this exhibit, click here.
