In a state that continually finds ways to charge for just about everything, New York's Governor has shelved a law that would charge for bags in grocery stores.

The Reusable Bag Law would charge a fee for each plastic bag used when you purchase something at a store. This law has been widely used in other states and is only being considered for parts of New York including New York City.

Governor Cuomo has temporarily blocked the law that would charge $.05 per bag citing "flaws" within the law.
