Should this happen in Erie County as well?

Easter Long Island officials in New York say that they have raised the age limit for purchasing tobacco products including, the current, wildly-populate e-cigarettes.

Could the new age limit of 21be coming to Erie County soon? Should it be that high? Are people taking advantage of it?

According to the Buffalo News:

A county legislator who is also a pediatric surgeon sponsored the bill. William Spencer says it will save lives. The law being signed Monday by County Executive Steve Bellone goes into effect Jan. 1. Businesses that sell tobacco to customers younger than 21 face fines of $1,000 or more.”
